Coach Massimo Paone – Connecticut Superiors Offensive coordinator

Coach Massimo Paone brings decades of rich experience in American football, spanning from his time as a quarterback in Italy to his current role as a high school coach in Connecticut and New York. His playing career with Lions Bergamo was marked by two national championships and an MVP title, culminating in his selection to the Italian U21 National Team. Massimo’s passion for football, combined with his strategic mind, has been instrumental in shaping his coaching philosophy, emphasizing discipline, teamwork, and skill development.

Over the past five years, Coach Mass has also been responsible in helping the New Canaan Youth Football program, where he significantly expanded participation and guided teams to multiple FCFL state championships. His leadership and vision extended beyond the field as a board member and his success in coaching resulted in several players advancing to national-level competitions.

Massimo is currently a varsity football coach at Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains NY leading sophomore and freshmen teams; he has also served as the Varsity QB Coach at St. Luke’s High School, where he played a key role in developing offensive game plans and mentoring a D1 quarterback recruit now playing in the Sun Belt Conference.

Coach Paone’s deep understanding of the game, coupled with his educational background in economics and finance, makes him a well-rounded and dedicated leader for Connecticut Superiors' travel programs. He is committed to fostering the next generation of athletes both on and off the field.
