Refund Policy

Refund, Deposit, Credit & Participation Waiver Agreement

This Refund, Deposit, Credit & Participation Waiver Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between Connecticut Superiors LLC (“Company”) and the undersigned parent or legal guardian (“Guardian”) on behalf of the minor athlete (“Athlete”).

This Agreement applies to all Connecticut Superiors programs, including but not limited to Football University (FBU) teams, 7v7 travel teams, 5v5 travel teams, leagues, tournaments, jamborees, camps, clinics, and training programs(collectively, the “Program”).

By registering the Athlete, the Guardian knowingly and voluntarily agrees to the following terms:

1. Non-Refundable Deposit & Registration Fees

To secure a roster spot within any FBU, 7v7, or 5v5 travel team, a non-refundable deposit of Three Hundred Dollars ($300) is required (“Deposit”).

For camps, clinics, and training programs, a non-refundable deposit of One Hundred Dollars ($100) is required.

  • The applicable Deposit constitutes a commitment to participation and supports planning and allocation of resources.

  • Once offered and accepted, the Deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.

  • The full registration fee includes the applicable Deposit.

  • All registration fees are deemed earned upon receipt and are immediately allocated toward non-refundable operational expenses, including but not limited to insurance premiums, practice and facility rentals, tournament entry fees, equipment, administrative costs, and professional coaching services.

Except as expressly stated in this Agreement, all fees are non-refundable.

2. Refund Eligibility Prior to Season Commencement

Prior to the official commencement of the season or program, a participant may be eligible for a refund of fifty percent (50%) only of the amount paid in excess of the applicable non-refundable Deposit, provided that all of the following conditions are met:

a. Written notice of cancellation is submitted to Billing@ctsuperiors.com
b. The cancellation request is received no later than seven (7) days prior to the first official practice or scheduled start of the Program

Failure to meet either requirement results in forfeiture of all fees paid.

3. No Refunds After Season Commencement

Absolutely no refunds shall be issued once the season or program has commenced. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Registration fees

  • Participation or membership fees

  • Tournament fees

  • Coaching fees

  • Camp, clinic, or training fees

  • Any other costs associated with the Program

This applies regardless of injury, withdrawal, dissatisfaction, scheduling conflicts, or any other reason, except as expressly stated in Section 4.

4. Limited Refund or Credit Eligibility After Season Commencement

After season commencement, a refund or program credit may be considered only under the following circumstances:

a. Season-Ending Injury
b. Tournament Cancellation by Football University (FBU)
c. Cancellation of Participation by Connecticut Superiors for the Athlete’s Age Division

No other circumstances shall qualify.

5. Refund and Credit Structure

If Section 4 applies, the Guardian may receive either:

  • Fifty Percent (50%) Cash Refund, reflecting non-recoverable costs already incurred
    OR

  • One Hundred Percent (100%) Program Credit toward another Connecticut Superiors program

Credits are non-transferable, non-assignable, and have no cash value.

6. Express Waiver of Prohibited Refund Reasons

Refunds or credits shall not be issued for practice changes, communication concerns, playing time, coaching decisions, location changes, weather (unless tournament canceled), voluntary withdrawal, or any reason not expressly stated herein.

7. No Guarantee of Participation or Playing Time

Participation, playing time, position assignments, and tournament placement are not guaranteed and are determined solely by coaching staff.

  • Round-robin / exhibition games: good-faith effort for equal playing time, subject to running clock and operational limits

  • Playoff / bracket play: equal playing time not guaranteed

8. Season Commencement Definition

The season or program is deemed to have commenced upon the earliest of:

  • First official practice

  • First open practice, tryout, or Jamboree

  • First scheduled tournament (if no practice precedes participation)

9. Force Majeure

Performance delays caused by events beyond reasonable control (including weather, pandemics, government actions, or similar events) shall not constitute cancellation unless Connecticut Superiors provides written notice.

10. Final Determination Authority

All refund and credit decisions are made at the sole discretion of Connecticut Superiors LLC and are final.

11. Governing Law & Venue

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, with venue exclusively in Connecticut.

12. Severability

If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in effect.

13. Acknowledgment and Acceptance

By checking the policy box stating "I've read and accept the plan policy". the Guardian affirms full understanding and acceptance of this Agreement.
