Introducing Matt Morganti – Offensive Coordinator, Connecticut Superiors

We are thrilled to announce the latest addition to our coaching team at the Connecticut Superiors - Matt Morganti, who will be stepping in as the Offensive Coordinator. Matt brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success, both as a player and a coach, to our team.

Matt's football journey is marked by significant achievements and milestones. As a senior at Greenwich High School, under the guidance of Head Coach John Marinelli, Matt was a standout player. He earned an All-Conference selection, playing a pivotal role in leading the team to the state playoffs for the first time in five years. His impressive performance, highlighted by 36 catches, 607 receiving yards, and 4 touchdowns, was a testament to his skill and dedication on the field.

Following his high school success, Matt continued his football career by walking on at the University of Connecticut. His time at UConn further honed his skills and understanding of the game, preparing him for his future coaching endeavors.

Matt began his coaching career in 2022 at Greenwich Country Day School, where he took on the role of Wide Receiver coach. Under his guidance, the team flourished, producing an All-NEPSAC receiver in each of his first two years, along with multiple Evergreen League selections.

As he joins the Connecticut Superiors, Matt Morganti is ready to bring his innovative offensive strategies and his passion for the game to our team. His experience, both on and off the field, makes him an ideal leader to shape our offensive unit.

We are excited to see the dynamic and effective offense that Coach Morganti will undoubtedly cultivate, driving our team towards success.
